FAQ

Frequently asked questions.

Straightforward answers to the questions we hear most often from business owners.

We focus on established, essential service businesses — including excavation, utilities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, septic, landscaping, waste services, specialty construction, and small manufacturing. We look for companies with 20+ years in operation, a strong reputation, established employees, consistent profitability, and typically $400,000–$500,000 in Seller's Discretionary Earnings.

Protecting your employees is central to how we approach every acquisition. Their institutional knowledge and relationships are part of what makes the business valuable, and our goal is continuity, not disruption. Specific commitments are discussed and documented as part of the transaction structure.

Confidentiality is a priority from the very first conversation. We're comfortable signing a non-disclosure agreement before any detailed information is exchanged, and we do not share information about your business with employees, customers, or competitors without your consent.

It varies by business, but most conversations move from initial introduction through a signed agreement over roughly two to three months. We're happy to move at whatever pace makes sense for your situation — there's no pressure to rush a decision this important.

Yes. We're glad to work directly with your business broker, attorney, or CPA throughout the process, and we welcome brokers bringing us qualified opportunities that fit our acquisition criteria.

You'll hear back from us directly, typically within one to two business days, to schedule a private introductory conversation. There's no cost, no obligation, and no pressure — it's simply a chance for both sides to see if it's worth exploring further.
